Our learning AI.
A trainer who knows your work.

No explainer videos, no multiple choice: every Curonaut course is run by a learning AI built specifically for corporate training — working with each person individually, on their real tasks, in their working world. Here is how it works. In full.

Transparency per EU AI Act · human review available at any time · HR never sees conversation content

One AI, three roles

Like a good human trainer, the learning AI switches roles — depending on where the learner currently stands.

1
The placement interviewer

In the placement interview (12–15 min.), it first captures the workplace profile: role, degree of autonomy, communication load. Then it covertly and without exam pressure probes what is already mastered — through open narrative questions, never quizzes. Whatever is demonstrably mastered leaves the learning path.

2
The exercise coach

In every building block it practises with the person on their real tasks: it asks, challenges and gives feedback — but the thinking stays with the learner. Role-plays are played out in character, from the sympathetic colleague to the stubborn customer.

3
The fair examiner

Proofs of practice and module assessments are graded against fixed, predefined criteria — the same for everyone. Every verdict is justified per criterion and traceable: passing means applied, not memorised.

How it coaches: demanding, not dictating

The AI follows fixed didactic rules we sharpened across hundreds of test conversations. The most important one: it never takes the learning moment away from anyone.

  • Real examples: practice happens on the person’s own tasks, numbers and deadlines — not on textbook cases.
  • The person decides: the AI asks ("Where do you place this — and why?") and challenges only when the reasoning wobbles.
  • Own attempt first: a model solution is shown only after the person has formulated their own — as a comparison, never a template.
  • Pace with respect: at most two sharpening rounds on the same point, visible progress, no gruelling loops.
  • Honesty: the AI invents no personal work experience and never pretends to be human.
From a real exercise (abridged)
You classified the customer presentation as urgent AND important. The date is three weeks away — what exactly makes it urgent today?
Fair point — it isn’t urgent yet. But it matters to me, because €40,000 of order volume depends on it.
That is a solid justification in the currency of your role. Which quadrant does it move to — and what does that mean for your calendar this week?

How it grades: fixed criteria, evidenced verdicts

AI grading is only fair if it is traceable and repeatable. That is why we put more work into the grading engine than into any other component.

Fixed rubrics

Every assessment has predefined criteria with clear pass conditions — created by subject-matter experts, identical for all learners. The AI invents no additional requirements; it checks exactly what the rubric demands.

Evidence requirement

A criterion may only be marked as not met if the AI can name the concrete gap. For every verdict it must cite the part of the answer it relies on — gut feeling is not a justification.

Multiple independent runs

Every submission is graded by three independent evaluation runs; the result per criterion is the majority verdict. Ties are resolved in the learner’s favour.

No failing

"Not passed yet" means: concrete feedback per criterion and a new attempt — the existing answer is preserved and revised, not retyped. There are no grades, no rankings, no comparison with colleagues.

What a result looks like (example)
✓Strict ranking without ties
All eight tasks unambiguously ranked; rank 1 justified via revenue impact.
✓Importance justified without time references
Justifications measure impact in the currency of the role; deadlines appear only under urgency.
✗Handling the capacity limit
The plan schedules 9.5 of 8 hours — a cut, delegation or active push-back is missing.

What the learning AI does not do

Trust comes from boundaries that hold — these are anchored technically, not just promised.

  • It never shows conversation content to the employer: HR sees module status only ("demonstrated", "passed") — never answers, chats or exam texts.
  • It doesn’t flatter and doesn’t place anyone by sympathy — placement and grading follow documented rules.
  • It replaces no human authority: every AI assessment is labelled as such, and a human review can be requested at any time.
  • It collects no data for other purposes: EU hosting, GDPR-compliant, data processing agreement with your company.

Transparency per EU AI Act

Learners know at all times that they are talking to an AI. Every assessment is labelled as AI-graded and justified per criterion. Grading logs are retained and professionally audited on a sample basis — findings flow back into the engine as rule updates.

For HR & works councils

Curonaut is deliberately built to be co-determination-friendly: no individual monitoring, no behavioural or performance control at content level, clear data separation. We gladly provide the technical documentation for your committees.

Experiencing beats explaining.

The fastest way to understand the learning AI is a conversation with it — in the pilot programme with your own team.
